Feelings
- Communicate
Communicating
means letting people know how you feel. The best way
to do this is by talking about things. Maybe you feel
that grownups are not telling you what they know about
MS and you wish they would just tell you what is happening.
Perhaps
you're afraid to upset Mom or Dad if you talk about
MS. You should tell them how you feel because they
may not know how worried you are.
It's
true that the effects of MS sometimes make us sad.
Mom and Dad also have feelings like you do. Talking
about these feelings may bring you closer together
and help you find ways to cope better with MS.
Don't
be afraid to ask questions. Your fears are often worse
than the answers you'll be given.
Getting
information can reassure you and may help you become
better prepared for changes that may occur.
